Mr. Modi announced the successful completion of Mission Shakti, testing of India’s anti-satellite missile.
He said that this country has proved this great nation is one among the four nations who have tested anti-satellite missile, by far. During the announcement of the successful completion of mission Shakti prime minister Modi said that the Indian has to be proud of the fact that it has found a name among the three major powers like the UK, US, and China.
He further added that anti-satellite testing was highly essential for the safety and security of the nation. This is an effort of the NDA government to make India a super space power in the near future. Later he congratulated the members of DRDO on the successful launch of an anti-satellite missile A-SAT.
He also reiterated the fact that this test was conducted to strengthen the country’s security and was not aimed at threatening any other country.
Political Arguments on Completion of Mission Shakti
As soon as the PM announced this, Rahul Gandhi showered words of criticism against the PM. He questioned the need of the NDA government to test the missile just before the elections. He further added that the honorable PM is the scriptwriter of this drama and has played it well.
Replying to the troll, Mr. Amit Shah, the BJP chief asked the NDA government of the reason why the UPA government scrupled to conduct such a test way back when it was in power? He also added that this a great feat our scientists have achieved so far.
Criticizing Mr. Modi is the same as criticizing the scientists who have taken pains to develop India into a super space power. The finance minister Arun Jaitley has also criticized the UPA government for leveling undesirable statements against the Indian government for testing the anti-satellite missile.
No doubt, completion of Mission Shakti is big news for the safety and security of India. We all must proud of all the scientists who made it done.
