Music is not something invented today. It exists since the existence of life.
However, thanks to the people who have laid a path for music through thin wires connecting to our ears pouring our favorite chords to the heart. As it has now become portable, we never tend to leave it aside for even a second.
It is beyond the boundaries of emotions. You can relate to a particular music when you wanna grove on the dance floor, or you are in a deep grieve as well. Most of us believe it could even heal. Music therapy is now worth looking for.
World Music Day is celebrated on 21st June Every Year. This happens to be the longest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere. More than 120 Nations have adopted it(Including India Ofcourse). Though it comes under entertainment, it is more than just entertainment for most of the people. It is a part of life.
Other media can make a good past time but it finds a different perspective. It helps to heal and even to meditate by catching hold of our mind and soul.
It never means sound. Mere Sound waves lingering without a pattern never called as music. It has a meaning. Rythm is the soul of music. Right from the heart beat to the breath-in, breath-out pattern, everything has got its rythm. Once it goes out of rythm, it implies something terrible to be fixed ASAP.
When we are in a hurry or we go crazy on someone, the best advice we get is to BREATH. Control the breath means tuning our mind back to life. When you close your ears tight, you can hear a hallow slow wave of music.
Some say it is “Om kar”. Your death is about to come within six months if you didnot catch up to that rythm (Just a saying , you can ignore though).
